Drilling

Our Bores are drilled to Australian Drilling standards.Andy is more than happy for you to be present during the drilling process so he can talk you the whole process and show you the different drilling formations encountered during the bore drilling.

Mud drilling

We have an EVH drill rig purposely designed on a Kubuta 4WD Tractor for all bores including limited access locations- and ramps to drive over retaining walls which causes minimal  garden damage. The rig can drill with mud and air developed with 100mm bore casing to 45m to Australian standards .The bores are then gravel packed so no sand can enter the system and  also have a truck that carries 2000 litres of water and a 120cfm compressor for air developing the bores.

Bore Development

If your bore is showing signs of reduced flow and pressure it may ned a clean out (air development)to try and clean out the slots. We can introduce Well Clean which is an Australian Mud Company  product to the bore and with compressed air slowly clean out the bore.

Hand Bores

Sometimes the only way a bore can be acieved is by hand. This  is done by a tripod  and sludging  steel casing and then dropping a spear. Spear bores are used with centrifugal areas and can be dropped to 14m-we can locate them in back yards and other out of the way locations

Rebores

Bores have a limited lifespan -this can be caused by sand in the system, level of water the water dropping.,tree roots and blocked slots. When this problem arises we try to air develop the bore and if this fails and a rebore is required we can do this for you.The rebore can be drilled next to the original bore(in the same bore hole) and can easily connect the retic back to the retic system.
